Work experience
Loren studied chemistry at the University of Zagreb, Croatia and ETH Zürich. He obtained his PhD in chemistry from ETH Zürich, investigating light-induced phenomena in clusters and aerosols. During his postdoc at ETH Zürich, he worked on interfacing advanced light sources with aerosol targets and carried out a collaborative project at Imperial College London. Afterwards, he worked as an R&D Scientist in an early-stage genomics startup in Zürich.
Loren joined ETH transfer in February 2026 as a Technology and Licensing Manager.
